Parque nacional de Calanques, clube de praia e tapas em Marselha

A boat tour to the Calanques National Park is one of the most unmissable experiences while in Marseille. But please do buy tickets for a tour that includes a stop for swimming. Trust me on this one. At the end of the day, after spending the afternoon swimming and bathing, we had the most relaxed meal at the L’Oli Bé restaurant.

Sul de França: Cassis, pôr-do-sol em Marselha e Bouillabaisse

Cassis, a small village in the south of France near Marseille, was one of the most beautiful places we visited on this trip. We also had an absolutely amazing sunset on our way back to Marseille, followed by a gastronomic experience which included the famous local fish soup, Bouillabaisse.

A explorar Marselha: Palais Longchamp e igrejas históricas

Second day of our trip to Marseille. The hot weather could be felt from the early hours of the morning, but before giving up and heading to Cassis, we visited the beautiful Palais Longchamp and the church Les Réformés, with its tall entrance towers and stunning stained‑glass windows. At the end of the morning, we visited one of the most famous places in Marseille, the basilique Notre‑Dame de la Garde.

Marselha: Navettes, Le Panier e Ciel Rooftop

We spent our first afternoon in Marseille uncovering the origins of the iconic Navettes and tasting them at a beloved local bakery. Then we wandered through Le Panier, the city’s quirkiest neighbourhood, before ending the night on a terrace overlooking the glowing Notre-Dame de la Garde basilica.

Locais históricos em Marselha: catedral, porto e castelo

We spent our first day in Marseille exploring its historic heart including the cathedral, the old port and the Château d’If, once a prison between 1541 and 1945. We ended the day at Plage des Catalans before unwinding with a drink in a cosy Irish pub.

Marsellha, França

This is the first post about my four days in the south of France, exploring Marseille and Aix‑en‑Provence. In it, I share how to prepare both before and during the trip, along with my personal reflections. All of the tips, ideas, and experiences are now here for you to dive into.

Restaurantes em Barnet e Bushey (norte de Londres)

Barnet and Bushey are two towns in the north of London, with excellent connections to the city and more affordable accommodation. If you end up spending some time in either of them, take a look at these two restaurants (read post) for a delicious and relaxed meal.

Cervejaria Rebellion Beer Co. Ltd em Marlow, Inglaterra

🍺 Rebellion Brewery is one of our favourite places to go during the weekend. A place where we return to again and again. Great craft beers, a cosy and relaxed Tap Yard, rotating food trucks, lively social nights, and even brewery tours. Whether for a quick pint or a full evening out, Rebellion never disappoints. Our experience now updated

Podgorica, a capital de Montenegro

This is the last post about our trip to Montenegro. Today we’re talking about Podgorica, including the Niagara Falls (yes, that’s right), Gorica Park, the Millennium Bridge, and the Temple of the Resurrection of Christ. It turns out Podgorica isn’t as boring as its reputation suggests.

Parque nacional Prokletije

Before heading back to Podgorica, we detoured into Prokletije National Park where we visited natural springs, waterfalls, and we had the cheapest meal of the whole trip. We even made a special friend along the way. All the details are finally in.
