One of the best reasons to visit Rome, or any part of Italy, is the food. After visiting the Vatican and Trastevere, we spent the next hours of Saturday trying gastronomic delights, first at Open Baladin and then at the restaurant Mino, for traditional and delicious food.
Igrejas, pizza e Roma à noite
By the end of my first day in Rome, I still had time to visit two churches: the Basilica di San Pietro in Vincoli, famous for Michelangelo’s statue of Moisés, and the Chiesa di Santa Maria ai Monti, an absolutely beautiful church.
Dinner had to be pizza, and the most recommended restaurant was Mariuccia — good food, good atmosphere, and good company. The perfect way to end my first day in Rome.
