During our weekend in Yorkshire, we explored stunning accommodations like The Larch Room and enjoyed delicious local cuisine, including chicken parmo. Highlights included visiting Castle Howard, a majestic stately home, and enjoying scenic hikes around picturesque villages. De volta a Barnet a norte de Londres
Barnet in north London is a town, surrounded by beautiful parks and forests like Monken Hadley Common, perfect for strolls. With easy metro access to the city, it’s budget-friendly for those who want to visit London. Highlights in Barnet include the church St Mary, the Virgin, delicious treats at Marley’s bakery, and a chill vibe, making it a great day trip spot!
Parque nacional de Durmitor (parte I)
The first stop in Durmitor National Park was Žabljak, the main town of the area, where we stayed for two nights. In Durmitor we found a very traditional restaurant with delicious food and even a place to have burek for breakfast. Our exploration of the park started with Crno Jezero, the most famous glacial lake in Durmitor.All the details now available.
Kotor (parte 2): fortaleza, catedral e um doce final
Climbing the fortress and soaking in those sweeping views was the perfect way to open the day in Kotor. It only got better from there: a visit to the cathedral, a sweet breakfast, and a slow wander along the city walls, joined by Kotor’s many resident cats. All the details are in the post.

On our second day exploring the North York Moors, we completed two trails to see two waterfalls: Falling Foss and Mallyan Spout. Later that day, we visited the villages of Goathland and Grosmont to see the historic steam train in action. This day ended with the most delicious meal.

The North York Moors are a treasure of nature trails. On this day, we explored two of them: the Hole of Horcum and Dalby Forest. After covering miles on foot, it was time to visit Thornton-le-Dale and treat ourselves to something sweet. Croda da Lago e Lago di Alleghe
On our last day in the Dolomites, we explored two unforgettable trails — Croda da Lago and Lago d’Aghele. Each offered its own unique adventure, with completely different vibes and stunning landscapes. From rugged peaks to peaceful lakes, it was the perfect way to wrap up our time in this magical region. Lagos nos Dolomitas

The trail in Vallunga is considered one of the best trails for the whole family….no steep climbs needed and yet you get to see amazing landscapes. The vale surrounded by magnificient mountains will make you fall in love with this place. And we were lucky enough to see a small deer crossing our paths, in one of those ‘Disney’ moments
