The weekend started with a visit to the Vatican Museums, wandering through more than a thousand rooms before reaching the Sistine Chapel. If you’ve booked tickets in advance, make sure to use the fast‑track entrance so you don’t get stuck in the queue. After a quick lunch, we headed to St. Peter’s Basilica, the most important church in the Vatican. The cupola and Michelangelo’s Pietà are among its unforgettable highlights.
