When the conference had finished, I moved from the Quirinale Hotel to the Aquarius Inn guesthouse, where the owner gave me tons of ideas and tips to explore the city. I spent the afternoon exploring so many places, especially around the Monumento a Vittorio Emanuele II, my favourite area of Rome. After visiting the Orange Garden and the Piramide di Cestio, it was finally time to return to the city and try the famous and truly delicious pistachio croissant at L’Antico Forno di Fontana di Trevi.
