It only got better from there: a visit to the cathedral, a sweet breakfast, and a slow wander along the city walls, joined by Kotor’s many resident cats. This was the first part of our experience — and staying at the amazing Palata Bizanti apartment made it even better. Rain soaked most of our second day in Montenegro, so it wasn’t the highlight of the trip. Still, we visited Sveti Stefan, Praskvica Monastery, and Cetinje, and tackled the winding Kotor serpentine to see why it’s such a challenge. Then came the chaos: a coffee shop encounter with a slightly unhinged, very rude pomegranate super‑fan who took Montenegrin fruit way too seriously. We wrapped the day with check‑in at our place in Bar, the cheapest stay of the whole trip. All the details now available!
